This Train of Thought Returns

Remember the time you were in so much pain you didn't notice there was anyone else in the world.

Remember the day you woke up depressed and couldn't brighten up your own day, forget about anyone else's?

Remember the wedding you went to wearing that outfit you hate, and were so caught up in how you looked you completely forgot it was someone's wedding and the only reason you are there is to make them happy on their special day.

I used to think that the reason why I need to be happy, healthy, calm, patient, inspired, comfortable with myself... is so that I can be a happy, healthy, comfortable person.

But it's not about me.
It's about you.

Life is all about being available.
Available for everyone else.
If you're sad - you're not available.
If you're sick - you're not available.
If your self-conscious - you're not available.

When I am having a hard day, I have no patience for your troubles.
When I am feeling uninspired, how can I inspire you?

L'chaim to a happy, healthy, awe inspiring week!

ditching class again fellow?
heh
the more i look at it the more i think the picture represents so many ideas...
like when you are so down and caught up in drowning in misery or lonliness or dispair you don't notice the awesomeness of the world around you.
like the rays of sun shining through the grey clouds or the eagle swooping down or the mysterious planet???
if he would only lift his head out of his self made misery he would see all the beauty he's missing by burying himself in self pity...

um
did i just write that?
yikes.
sorry dude.
maybe his pet goldfish just died and he's out in the park recovering from the sorrow of it all.
please forgive me sir.

lovely way of looking at the pic.. sorta does look like he needs some cheering up
he needs a fellowship..
this fellowship is not feeling dandy at home and going crazy from boredom but to tired to anything but walk around the house in circles...
i think ill go join that dude on the bench

the cycle of life - the joy and the tragedies...
and when we hear news that is hidden good we must say "boruch dayan haemes".
because there's really nothing else to say.
we should only hear good news.
